In 2000 ,Beijing Midi Music School held the first Midi Music Festival. Midi Music Festival from 2000-2003free for charge, all of performances shall be the obligation performances. The performances continued from 14:00 to 24 or even later, the daily audience about 5,000 people. These qualities make fans treat Midi Music Festival as the "Woodstock" naturally. Except for first music festival, it is held in May of that year usually.
Midi Music Festival is the birthplace of the Chinese underground rock band - the first original music festival founded by Beijing Midi Music School , after the tenth of development , Midi Music Festival has become the one of loudest brand in the modern music area.
